Friday marks the last trade day at the Paris Air Show, and today we’re getting the stand ready to receive public visitors.
The week has gone well, with countless inquiries and plenty of meetings attended by NWAA staff. Highlights have included a visit by the French Ambassador to the stand, who took time out to discuss aerospace issues with NWAA chief exec Martin Wright.
About 60 people attended our reception event on Wednesday, and representatives from the Mexican aerospace community visited to discuss potential opportunities for the NWAA’s Aerospace Supply Chain Excellence Programme.
Martin Wright, and David Bailey, our operations director, also met with the Midlands Aerospace Cluster to discuss ways our two groups can further collaborate for the benefit of members.
Even the damp weather has failed to dampen the spirits of anybody at the air show which has proved successful for the NWAA and its members.
