The NWAA today turned over its pavilion to engaging with engineers of the future at the airshow’s Futures Day (pictured above).

The event is designed to inspire young minds towards a career in aerospace, defence and security, and the NWAA pavilion included a number of bespoke activities including ‘build your own UAV.’

In all, around 300 children visited the pavilion – a significant figure – with more expected on Saturday and Sunday, which are the public show days.
