Flying the flag at Paris

The NWAA will once again be exhibiting at the Paris International Air Show.

As one of the key international events on the aerospace calendar, it’s vital for the NWAA to showcase the work it is carrying out to a global audience.

The NWAA is one of only two regional cluster organisations from the UK to be exhibiting independently at the show, and will be giving high-level briefings and showcasing the work of both the regional cluster and the organisation itself.

The show runs from June 20-26 at Le Bourget, Paris. More than 100,000 trade visitors are expected to attend, along with 2,000 exhibitors and 200 official delegations.

The full list of exhibitors taking space on the NWAA stand, Hall 2b Stand F172, is:

Apel Ltd, the Wilmslow-based manufacturers of precision aerospace components; Sussex-based software engineers CG Tech Ltd; Northants based precision engineers EDM; Manchester supplier of power and control electronic products Ferranti Technologies; and Ford Aerospace, the South Shields precision machining and pressing company.

Group Rhodes, the Wakefield machinery supplier; Leicester manufacturer Hardinge Machine Tools; Clitheroe-based Hurst Green Plastics Ltd, the manufacturer and distributor of dispensing and storage solutions for catering industry; and Engineering solutions company JF Faber of Leyland.

Blackpool manufacturer John Huddleston Engineering will be joined by machining company Kilgour Industries Ltd, based in the Fylde; Barrowford-based precision engineers Merc Engineering UK Ltd and Pexa Ltd, the West Yorkshire material supplier.

Bolton-based Silcoms, the supplier of components or assemblies for aero-engine and gas turbine industries; TT Electronic Technology Ltd, the electronics manufacturer of Cambridge; and Wincanton, the Northampton-based supply chain solutions company Wincanton.
