Aerospace group grows its numbers

The NWAA is delighted to announced it has signed up 12 new members, which takes total membership to more than 360.

The additional members include companies from Lancashire, Merseyside, Cheshire and Cumbria but a number of companies have also signed up from areas further afield including Staffordshire, Essex and Northumberland.

Lisa Hodgson, membership liaison manager, said despite the tough economic climate, the aerospace sector still wants to tap into the knowledge and resources the NWAA can provide.

She said: “This has clearly been a mixed year for the aerospace sector, but those companies in the supply chain remain keen to keep the region healthy and ahead of the global competition.

“It is very encouraging that we are still seeing increased membership figures, from companies including those outside the North West hoping to tap into the work that the NWAA has been pioneering in this region.”
